Hestia™Pantheon Platforms
Payments and fees

Transparent fees before families commit.

Hestia™ is built around clear marketplace economics: families understand any service fee before checkout, and providers know the utility fee for completed invoice workflows.

How funds work

For families

For provider-directed contribution pools or completed marketplace transactions, Hestia™ may charge a family service fee, currently expected to be 3% to 4%. Any applicable fee should be shown before checkout.

Example: $8,000 × 3.5% = $280

For providers

For completed invoice/payment workflows, providers may pay a flat utility or success fee, currently expected to be $150 to $250, depending on the agreement and workflow.

Example provider utility fee: $200

Example scenario

An $8,000 funeral-related invoice.

Family payment or contribution pool: $8,000. Family service fee at 3.5%: $280. Provider utility fee: $200. Gross Hestia™ revenue: $480 before payment processing costs and any applicable taxes or adjustments.

What families get

A private workspace, quote/request records, provider comparison, contribution/payment records where available, and a clearer way to coordinate who is paying for what.

What providers get

Structured family inquiries, clearer service requests, documented invoice/payment workflows, and reduced manual follow-up around collections and outstanding balances.

Plain-language rule: Hestia™ should never hide fees. If a fee applies, it should be visible before checkout or provider agreement. Providers remain responsible for service delivery and their own terms.
